George Leutz

From humble beginnings in Canarsie, where everybody looks the same, George Leutz left home at an early age in search of unique musical experiences, and altered states of consciousness.

After jamming with many shaman, rock n roll saints and ascended masters, and cabalistically correlating the I ching, Mayan calendar, Nordic runes and Carnatic Indian cycle of ragas into a universal Music of the Spheres, George turned down an invitation to join the Illuminati, citing political differences as his primary reason, though more likely he thought the organization would get in the way of his musical pursuits.

Following a brief period of lost time, possibly due to a brainwashing by the Mossad, George began writing the music he plays today; rock songs, instrumental trances, psychedelic melodies, in styles ranging from alchemical pop to avant garde noise. Between songs during live performances, George likes to recite words by William Burroughs, Alan Watts and Aleister Crowley while improvising.

George has performed live on Air America Radio's The Majority Report. He's also been busy casting magic spells with his guitar, creating dadaist collage and other surreal art, plotting the overthrow of the status quo with cyber-marxists, starting a war against the postmodern hipster "underground," and staging random situationist performances with his nomadic designer cult.

Goddess Delirious

True Classic Rock, that is nonetheless hard to pin down. The sound is alternatively psychedelic and then again evocative of 70’s southern rock. While the style has strong overtones of classic rock and blues, it is the undertones of many influences that set this music apart.

The lyrics are commentary on political and social dissonance. Musically, Indian and Middle Eastern classical music, tribal and futuristic trance, and fusion have worked their way in. George's guitar can evoke the sounds of Miles Davis’ horn in the 70s. Frank Zappa is a big influence on the guitar playing. There are literary influences as well…The writings of Robert Anton Wilson, William S. Burroughs and Alan Watts influence the lyrics. Andy Warhol influences the attitude. Conceptual post-modern art provides the framework for the performance of such a diverse range of styles. The harmonic system of Gurdjieff and the Mayan calendar tie everything together. All this is under the surface.

The result is sexy, entrancing, and powerful.

“However vast, however incomprehensible, however terrifying this entire display may seem to be, it is at root your own inmost self, the self which you cannot see, nor touch, nor pin down nor control, because it’s too close, too near, right in the middle of everything…because it’s You”

- Alan Watts
